If I remember right, it starts off entertaining but a little slow, but it picks up in that it's just so damn interesting, especially the specific random things Bidini talks about. Ha! It sounds delightfully cheesy and fun - and when I read the Tropics of Hockey (which I absolutely loved) I couldn't stop thinking that Dave Bidini had a really great narrator's voice and that it would be fun to see him write fiction. Well here I have it, I suppose! And besides that, anybody with the gall to name a book about sex and hockey anything to do with the five hole is, come on, awesome. I’m really sort of excited about this!
