Glad you like Brassard! I was so impressed by him last season -- I think if he hadn't got injured the Blue Jackets would have won a few more games for sure.

My pick after that was a lot like Stephen Weiss, in that it was Stephen Weiss. :) The next one won't come up for a while yet but I'm hoping for the best.

Sorry folks, I've been a terrible blogger this week. Haven't even blogged about the Seabrook pick yet but I'm glad to know you approve, Lewy!

Kaberle and Stamkos were definitely great options when you commented, Will, but unfortunately for us they're both gone now.

There's still Tomas Kaberle left if you want PMD. Also, you could consider Steven Stamkos and his ELC as your centre.

That's a good point. I'm somewhat concerned about not having a #1 centre, but Nash and Hemsky together could probably cope with that (I hope). I'll have to see how the draft goes between now and my next pick.

Yeah, I can see this one working out. Hemsky is a solid player, even if he doesn't have as much flash as your last two picks. Next round, definitely go for D, though. We all saw what happened to Tampa with no defense last year.
